She can tie her own shoes. She can write her first and last name. She spent a lot of time this summer copying words from books and drawing pictures. Her pictures of people have improved immensely and she still loves doing projects. She made her first magazine picture collage today and it was lots of fun. She loves to bowl. She learned how to swim without her puddle jumper and can hold her breath under water. She learned how to do a cartwheel. Her favorite color is still red... and purple. She is learning how to do a handstand at the gym and knows how to do a backbend and somersaults. Her laugh is contagious and she is seriously so easy! At this point she wants to be SpiderMan for Halloween and of course I will let her. She also told me she wants a Spiderman party just like her friend Noah had. We will reassess before her 5th birthday. She loves doing puzzles and is very good at them. She can say the Our Father and Hail Mary. She likes worms and fishing. She can count to 79 but we will work on 80-90-and 100 soon. She loves using markers and likes to draw fishtanks and houses. Here are a few pictures from recent months.
The girls were comparing their shoes... yes at 4 years old... they are already noticing fashion... yikes!
Grace spent a week going to Karate camp with Michael and Mia. She was upset the first day because her squad did not get the spirit sticks to bring home and decorate. No worries, she got to bring it home the second day and the world was well again.
Grace, Mia, and Michael. They all loved it! Grace met the older kids who were helping out with the camp and at the end she got an award for "Best New Friends" made at camp. I was so proud of her!
It was a Super Hero themed camp so each day they did a craft that added to their Super Hero outfit. A cape, mask, and cuffs. Grace decorated her cuffs with everyone in the family's names.
