Charlotte's 3rd Birthday- November 2013

For Charlotte's 3rd birthday she wanted a Belle and an Ariel party.  I decided that I wanted to have a morning party so that everyone would be gone by early afternoon, hence why we did a pajama party.  Lesson learned: Even if you start a party at 10 am, if you are an Augle, if won't get over until at least 7 p.m.  Anyways, the theme was a Prince and Princess Pajama party and I decorated my dining room for Belle and the Family room for Ariel.  Charlotte once again proved that she loves my party planning.  She was super excited and had a great birthday!!

The Belle table.  It was supposed to look like a bed.  I had a rose in the middle like in the movie with rose cups of popcorn, and I had chocolate cupcakes with homemade rose chocolates on top.

The Little Mermaid Cupcakes- Tray from Home Goods, Homemade chocolate shells

The Little Mermaid table- Sleep masks for the girls as well,

Hot Potato but with a Tiara.  The birthday girl got out first.  Oops!
The next game we played was who ever could unwrap their streamers and make their child into a mermaid wins.  Honestly, I loved this and of course, the parents really got into it.  Scott and Ava won but there were a lot of really great looking mermaids and mermen at the end!

 Matt and Jack!

Paul with Grace and Charlotte!

 Kathy and Samantha Bolt
 Amy with Michael and Mia
 Mary and Jack Schapendonk!

Party favors were Magic Mirrors from the dollar store and Ariel trinkets for the girls, and for the boys, Trident glowsticks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLOTTE!  WE LOVE YOU!

Charlotte was hilarious opening up gifts.  She was of course ripping them open and then she wanted to know who the gifts were so she could give everyone hugs.

Her gift from Rita and Dean and Amy, Matt and family was an Ariel vanity.  Charlotte loves doing her hair and looking in the mirror so this gift is perfect!

Blowing out her candles.  Perfect day!

Even though it was a slightly chilly day in November, we were able to have a jump house with a slide for Char's birthday.  Between this and the party games, we avoided a playroom fiasco!

Halloween 2013- Pictures of My Superheroes!

I thought that it was fitting that if my girls were all going to be Superheroes that Paul and I reenact our costumes.  This time, however, I totally wore red jeggings instead of red tights.  I mean, WHAT WAS I THINKING? It must not have been as cold the last time we wore these costumes.  Three kids later, we still got it.  Hahaha!

Grace was the coolest Spider Man there is.  Her two boy best friends in class were also Spiderman so of course we needed a pic of all three with their projects.  Grace, Noah, and Jack.

Grace won the freeze dance game.  I mean, I couldn't be prouder of my little one, here.  She was so humble when she won too.  All the kids came and hugged her and she walked with her head down straight to me.  She didn't really like the attention.  Obviously, she gets that from Paul:)

Grace and mommy at her party!

Julianne and Grandma.  She is such a smiley, happy baby!

 Great Grandma Augle and Julianne!
My three little Superheroes.  Charlotte wanted to be Spiderman like Grace but I refused to buy a second Spiderman costume, so I took Charlotte to the store to pick out her costume.  She went through the whole wall of costumes and kept saying she wanted to be Spiderman like Grace.  I decided to try to get a Superhero theme to work so I grabbed the Captain America costume and a Wonder Woman costume for Charlotte to try on.  I asked which one she wanted to try on first and she chose the Captain America.  She put it on right in the store and said she wanted to wear it for Halloween.  I told her to try on the Wonder Woman costume but she refused.  She said she wanted Captain America.  I told her to take it off so we could buy it and again, she refused.  Well, that was that.  I walked her full costume up to the checkout, paid for the costume and she wore it out of the store!  We borrowed Julianne's costume from a friend.

SuperBaby with Grandma and Papa Augle!
Time to Trick or Treat.  We went in the Augle's neighborhood in Tinley and then met Amy and Scott's families in New Lenox.  Paul caught up with us after work.  Luke and Charlotte got lazy and wanted to sit in the stroller so they would get out at each house, trick or treat and then jump back in the stroller. Ava was a character from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Vince was a football, Michael was a knight, Mia a princess, and Luke a dragon.

We get back to Scott and Amanda's house after trick or treating and Amy makes a costume change!  Baby Koenig due May 30th, 2014!
