Grace and Catholic School's Week

Grace has gotten to do so much lately. She got her nails done with me, goes bowling every weekend with Paul, went to the fishing show with Paul, Ricky and Olivia and because of her preschool, she has already taken three field trips this year. First she went to the pumpkin patch back in the fall.  Then she went to Lewis University to see the play, Alice in Wonderland which she loved. She was afraid of the bunny in the play but wanted to watch the movie at home, which of course we did.

This week was Catholic Schools Week so all week was celebrating. Monday was Grandparents day which Grace got to bring her Grandma to.  They attended a mass, bought books at the book fair, and of course had treats. Paul's mom told me that Grace knows all her prayers, the pledge of allegiance and lots of other stuff that she never does for us at home.

Tuesday, Grace got to continue the celebration and go to the movie theatre to see Wreck it Ralph.  I was hesitant to send her because I wanted to take her to the movies first but I let her go. Turns out, she didn't like it. The girls she normally plays with at school didn't go so I think that had a lot to do with it. Grace told us that it was too loud and dark and the screen was too big.  She told me she likes watching movies at home better. She did however like her popcorn and fruit punch:).
