More Words and the Zoo

Since I last wrote, Charlotte has added several new words to her ever-expanding vocab list. She now can say "cracker," "apple," "purple," "bird" and "bear."

She started saying bear when she saw a polar bear at the zoo. It was the cutest darn thing. The polar bear was full of action and was walking back and forth outside. Charlotte started clapping, waving, and yelling, "Bear! Bear!" I am taking it that it was her favorite animal of the zoo.

She also said, "Bird" when we saw the Bald Eagles. Pretty cool stuff. Grace on the other hand could not wait to get away from the Bald Eagle and said, "I do not like those animals, lets leave." I'm not sure if she was frightened or what?" She did however want to see the snakes. The whole day, she kept asking to see the snakes. Of course, the reptile house was closed so she couldn't. Oh well, there's always next time!
